Which MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) offers the better plan for your cell phone in America?
If you’re here, I assume you want a cheap plan. Maybe you’re trying to save money or are visiting the US for a short time. I didn’t personally try both but here’s what I found from my research:
Tello
- Slightly more expensive.
- Uses T-Mobile network which has better coverage in major cities and highways, and probably remote areas as well.
- Allows rollover for your unused data if you renew a day early.
US Mobile
- Cheaper pricing since the website price includes all taxes, fees, etc. What you see is what you pay.
- Allows for a higher amount of your data to be used in hotspot.
- Uses the Verizon network. While this isn’t as big as the T-Mobile network, it’s still very good coverage and might also provide even better coverage in areas where T-Mobile is not as good.
